Singapore Day 3

And now ladies and gentleman...day 3! XD

Day 3 is wen my aunt and uncle goes back to Kuching...and me and my mom "pindah" to a another hostel at waterloo street...compared to the apartment we lived in b4...

tadah~! nice clean hotel beds....XD

after we have settled in at the hostel..we decided to go to orchard road again for some "real shopping" XD
So wen we were walking going into malls..we walked into 1 mall dat had a performance in the lobby..which was pretty cool...

a line of fashion models?? o.O
well..i duno wats going on but..i kinda like the bunnie mask..X3

Behind the models..there were this band...totally awesome! their songs..was so cool! this is the 1st ever local band that i reli enjoyed..XD

Next off..we finally reached our true destination...Singapore Plaza...
wen we walked in..i saw a whole bunch of ppl lining up for something..but i dint noe wat the heck was it..

look at those ppl...there's even ppl leaning on the balcony just to look down..u'd tot there was a live concert going on...
so i went to see wat actually was going on stage..and guess who dropped by Singapore??

Barney!!!! XD "If ur happy and u noe it clap ur hands~~" XD

so after that..we went for a break..the walk from orchard to singapore plaza was longer than u'd think...XD
so where better to take a short tea break than..our very own McD...

voila~! my mini cornetto choc Mcflurry...yum!
(i dint noe Mcflurry comes in a mini size! o.O)

So then, we went walking around aimlessly looking at shops and i found the cutest shop ever!

Baby Spa! Who'd tot dat there is a spa for babies!? XD

so its basically babies swimming with a round floating thingy (duno watsit called ><) around their neck...look! there's even a contest for it! i was going to take pictures of the an actual baby swimming but they do nt allow photography in there..so, sori ppl..XP

And then we arrived at my fav shop ever in simgapore!

Daiso Japan!! Ur shop that is always S$2!! XD
its basically a shop that sells important stuff from Japan..everything from household items to stationary and even food! XD
all items ar at S$2..no questions ask..cool aint it?? X3

later on..after our shopping spree at daiso japan..XD
it was time to eat lunch..and we decided to go for some japanese..there were lots of japanese restaurants here..but i settled for 1 place...

AjiTei...why u might ask??
well....

They have Omu Rice!!! kya~~!! finally!! after my long years of searching i finally get to try an authentic japanese omu rice! TAT

and also....

deserts gallore....*A*

my mom ordered their baked cheese rice..

and i ofcoz ordered the....

omu rice!!! X3

look at that scruptious, cheesy omu rice!! yum!! *mouth watering*

so later after lunch..my mom said she wanted to go to Carr4...so we went downstairs and i stumbled upon a very unique shop...

this shop sells alot of traditional japanese sweets...

and so..as always..i cant resist the temptation..i bought..

those were not the only sweets that i stumbled on...looked wat i found wen we were about to head home..

and so...after a nag from my mom..once again i end up not buying a single cake...T.T
before we head back to our hostel..i took a final snap shot of the mall's decorations...

so at around 10 we took a taxi home...but we reached our hostel at around 11..wonder why it took so long?? no~ its not cz the place was far...it's bcz of the stupid long line of ppl waiting for a taxi....and there were some stupid foreigners who do not understand common courtesy, just cut in line...a bunch of crazy china men..went and stole a taxi from and ang mo foreigner wen it was clearly his turn for the taxi...i was kinda pissed off cz i was next in line after the ang mo...but wat to do?? the taxi accepted them, wen clearly he shouldn't, and they just drove off...oh well luckily i was in an extremely good mood and weirdly very patient...XD

well..i guess thats all for day 3 tho....stay tune for day 4! i think day 4 wod be much longer...i might even break it to 2 posts...XD

Singapore Day 2

And now for day 2 of my trip...letz the picturez doz the talkin'!!! XD

First off..lets start with the morning's breakfast..umm..yum..yum..

Roasted chicken noodles with dumplings...my mom bought them for me at the morning wet market near out apartment..i dowan couldn't wake up so early in the morning to join them at the market..XD

After breakfast, we waited for my "biu ko" to come, den we went off to Takashimaya for some shopping..and for me to head of to....

yup! Kinokuniya~!!! my own personal heaven...X3

after that we went out into the streets to fiest our eyes on the so called "candy displays" XD

the streets paved with sweets...XD

after that we went off to eat dinner at a restaurant recommended by my biu ko..

i know i know...the name sounds kinda funny..i think so too..soup restaurant?? and no..it does not only serve soups..it basically serve chinese cuisine...

i've gotta hand it to them..i reli love the atmosphere there..the surrounding was kinda cool..reli gives off the traditional chinese garden vibe..XD

as requested by some readers...yummy fooooooddd~~~~
dint get the eat s'pore chicken rice during my trip tho..but~~~ i get to eat there famous s'pore chicken..XD

after all dat walking and flying squeezing we finally retired for the nite and head back to the apartment...

oh and btw...for day 2..i finally bought a few stuffs from kinokuniya....hohohoho...but i shall not hao lian post here...XD

Singapore Day 1

I know i know....i know its been days since i got back from Singapore...and why only now i update on my trip u ask? well.....don ask...coz....i dunno either..XD

anyways...as always i'll let the picture do the talking...huhu...XD

first off...this is where the journey started..take off for s'pore!! XD

Arrival at Johor airport and the 1st thing i see....cakes~!!! <3 <3

The Lavendar Cake and Bakery...

Couldn't resist the temptation..so these are wat i bought..for the road..XD

and now skipping a long, boring road trip..we are arriving the border between Malaysia and S'pore...

After arriving s'pore...we checked in into our apartment at People's Park..it reminded me of the apartments from those cantonese dramas i used to watch on tv..XD

wat i love about the apartment? its not only dat it is near the city...but it also has a nice spacious kitchen and a washing machine of its own! there were like 6 to 7 rooms in the apartment..O.O
We had a super long rest after dat till it was around 5 i think..dats wen my cousin came and brought us out for a walk in the city and ofcz dinner..XP

Central Mall

As we were walking around the mall..guess wat i spotted?

Azabu Sabo!!! kya~!!! wondering wat shop is this? well its a shop dat sells special, healthy and not to mention delicious Japanese ice-cream...

I was going to eat here before i came back from s'pore..but then alast..i was not able to..T.T

In the end we decided to eat dinner here...looks familiar? yup! its the Manhattan Fish Market! FYI, this is my 1st time eating at manhattan fish market....

after our dinner..we were on our way out of the mall wen we spotted a singing group at the lobby..singing the ever so famous Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up"

We went walking around town taking pictures....


And finally we arrived at....

yup! Marina Bay...

Here's the famous Marina Bay theater...heard dat Phantom of the Opera performed here as well...why oh why~!? dint i come to s'pore earlier..?? T.T

Anyways..this is the end of day 1...will be updating day 2....and i dare not say the word 'soon' cz i'm nt sure how 'soon' dat will be..XD
