Swt la...kinda upset dat some ppl not satisfied with my team winning the 1st prize in the boulavard cosplay skit competition...okay la..if you all keep insist that lolitas and gothic is not cosplay then fine la..actually this debate has been going on for years..but no actual conclusion to it..where do you have the right to judge us...
if dont agree wit lolitas and gothic is not cosplay then wateva! but please la..dont go spoiling ppl's club names...we also wana enjoy cosplaying ba..okay la..we know that all of you have more experience than us..more knowledge den us..we can call u all sempai lor..we duno den teach us how..u think we ar doing wrong..den tell us lor...straight up-front..teach us how to "properly" cosplay...=.=
there is no need for u guys to just spoil ppl's name on the internet like dat...hey..we ar fellow cosplayers wat...we have not done anything to you oso..wat for bash our name till like dat...making it into such a big fued...if its reli about the "passion" for u guys to cosplay..den there is no nid for u guys to care bout who gt 1st place o 2nd o 3rd...why i see you guys hafta make such a big deal about it?? anyway..this is our first time to win a contest o...and we also dint expect it ..so its not our fault we win..if not satisfied? u could have gone to the judges and tell them u do nt agree with the results..wat for put all the blame on us??? we were just there to participate and enjoy ourselves..why hafta blame us for winning?? making it sound like we cheated our way to win this competition..=.= to tell u the truth la..i oso very very shock we won..i dint expect we won..i was actually expecting the Gintama team to win...cz I love the cute penguin! <3 and i tot it was reli creative... ^^
And btw..our replies in your blogs..are NOT SPAMS! we are just replying to wat u post in ur blog and the comments...we ar just defending our club's name...and our team name too..is dat so wrong?? If reli think that is spam?? then please la..go consult ur IT lecturer..ask him/her wat is the REAL meaning of spam..=.=

and about the photography booth...izit by opening photography booth for cosplay such a wrong thing?? we trying to raise money for club fund..oso wrong ka?? i dint know dat fund raising was illegal in this country..@.@ and by the way..its not wrong by charging for the photos...in the real world..its called BUSINESS baby! nothing is for free in this world...== and wat talking abt our club using u guys for our benefits?? where gt?? we gt ask o...we gt ask properly if u guys are willing to participate in our photography booth leh...if not satisfied dat we dint pay u o anything..u cud hav just confronted us..saying u wan part of the profits..its ok..we cud hav work things out..but NO~~~ not only did u guys giv us any answsers whether u wana join o not..instead u guys saying we ar using all of u for our profits...and spoiling the cosplay name...I so wana ask hw is this spoiling the cosplay name?? o.O i've seen ppl do this kinda cosplay photography booth oso leh..nth wrong wat..so far gt hear anybody say bad abt cosplay just cz hafta pay at the photography booth bo?? and opening the booth was allowed by the organizers leh..in fact..they ar the ones who proposed the idea to us o...ha ya...if reli its SUCH a bad thing to do...den we wont do it again lor...haiz...=.=
Reli la..this kinda thing is reli tiring...if you guys are the mature fellow cosplayers that I admire and respect..stop this feud in the internet and come out to discuss wit us abt this problem nicely...we also wana know the REAL REASON behind all this "hatred"...^^

Well, first of all, as a Gothic Lolita and I mean I wear like that wherever I go and whatever I do, please do not address it as cosplaying because it is not. Fait accompli, it is a fashion.
They are based on the Victorian, the Renaissance and other old age periods and European styles to summarise. I want to honestly say that I feel very insulted by that statement. Mana-sama would probably feel the same way too, and so will my other kin. In case you don't know who is Mana, wiki his name or his brand Moi-meme-Moitie or his old band Malice Mizer.
There is no debate about it as the it has been already simplified, concluded and made into a fact: Lolita and Goth are fashions, sub-cultures if you want to call them but people like me wear them as we breathe air in this world.
I hope that you people will apologise for your misconception on our attire. We respect others who do not dress like us, including normal people like you, so please do the same for us.
FYI, there IS a debate about it whether u like it or not..and yes i do know who is Mana as I have the same interest in lolita as u..
i believe that the majority might believe that lolita is a fashion and not cosplay..yes i know that..but u must know that some are still unsure that whether lolita is part of cosplay or not..cz as u know dat some anime characters do where lolita dresses..
do make it simple..there is no right or wrong abt this statement..as cosplay has a very wide range base..
plus u cannot comfirm that lolita is not cosplay unless u have a printed evidence that says it is not cosplay than i will believe you..

btw..i meant no disrespect to the ppl who love lolita or other fellow cosplayers bcz I myself am one..the reason y i wrote this post was directed to another grp of ppl within kuching that keeps bashing my club's name without logical explanation just bcz they are not satisfied with my grp winning 1st place in a competition..=.=

Anime characters wearing lolita are like Gundam pilots wearing their uniform. Do you comprehend the logic that is cosplay?
For example, if Shinku from Rozen Maiden always wears her red dress with the bonnet of the same colour, if you wish to cosplay as her, you are to wear that as well, not other lolita dresses or clothes that she has never worn in the anime or manga. Based on your statement, should I also think that the wedding dress that a bride wears on her wedding day in animes or mangas is a costume? Should I remind you that cosplay is about wearing and being an anime/game/movie/manga/novel character?

Most stereotypical followers and non-followers define it as a costume but ask any true gosurori and you will get the same answer as mine.
I believe I have made my statement very very SIMPLE and I have been most polite in my comment earlier to ask for an apology. I have no concern for your club or what so ever and my mission here is only to make it clear that the clothes that me and my kin wear eveyday are NOT COSTUMES. We are not cosplayers, we are HUMAN BEINGS like you and the other punks/skinheads/crossdressers/normal people, who wear what we wish even though the eyes of the public see us differently because we DO NOT wear normal clothes or buy them at all.
We do not hate you and your club. We just want to clear the misconception of our attire.
If this is not face to face enough, how about we meet somewhere where none of us can escape of which by each other's throat we shall point our weapons? Yes? If you still think me and my kin don't deserve an apology, for the pride of the Goths and Lolitas, I will crush your king. Mark my words. The name of our attire shall not be stained.
