The good and the bad in my simple life!

Its been awhile since I've updated here...so I've decided to announce a few good things and of course not to leave out the bad things, that are happening today!

April 7th...may be an average any other day for you...but it just so happens, its not quite that average to me...

Lazy lazy day...

Right now..this is how I am....

Gosh...I've slept 10 hours last night but still feel damn tired when I walked in to work this morning...I actually fell asleep at the toilet!! Its such a lazy lazy day for me...PLEASE let this day end quick...><

I am Number 4

Watched the famous "I am Number 4" blockbuster last Saturday night with a group of friends. We bought the tickets before hand and unfortunately one of my friends had to bail (my fault actually), plus we were 20 mins late into the movie thus I've missed the first part of the movie, kind of a bummer actually. But all's well, I enjoyed spending time with my friends..a great way to unwind from the blend daily life.

Save the Sled Dogs - Seize Animal Cruelty!

I've receive news in Twitter that somewhere in Whistler, British Columbia, there is a company, the Howling Dog Tours, killed 100 dogs one by one in front of each other due to the fact that these dogs were either sick, too old or unable to be of service any longer.

Its practically ridiculous! How can they do such a thing to such innocent creatures just because they do not know how to deal with them? What if it were humans? Would you just gather them and kill them one by one just because you have no idea how to deal with them? Some people may say that we're humans they're just dogs..but guess what internally they are the same..they have bones, brains, kidneys, lungs, HEARTS! They are breathing and living creatures like us people! They have feelings to! Animal cruelty is getting way out of hand these days..and we need to stop them!

And to do that, here's the first step you can take. The IS Foundation has created a petition to reform British Columbia's anti-animal cruelty law and stop all this madness to ever happen again!

Vampire Diaries

Thanks to a friend's intro, I'm currently addicted to the hit vampire series Vampire Diaries...

Aside from the hot vampire brothers, it does have a nice storyline. It truly sticks to the original myths and beliefs of vampires about how not being able to be under the sun, unable to come in to a house if not invited etc. Unlike the Twilight saga, this is less fairy tale-tsy storyline...

Today is our final day of our Chinese New Year celebration! There's mini war going out there..not as much as the first day but still its nice to hear fireworks...its kinda sad that today is the last day...then its back to reality = work...haih...

Wao! Its been soooooo long since I've ever touched this blog...was bored and just wanted to drop by and wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! Heard from a friend that this year's fortune on relationships are looking good! So hope all the loving couples out there have a wonderful year this year and continue to cherish and love each other!

CNY, fun but tiring..

As what the title says...CNY is fun...with all the visiting..eating biscuits and cakes...getting 'ang pao'..bla bla bla...all kids love CNY...but den...behind it all...its super hectic!

First there is the cleaning of the house.. its like spring cleaning...we have to change the sheets...curtains...couch covers..bla bla...den the washing..den the drying...den there is the swipping and mopping of the floors...MY GOODNESS! I could go 'kaput' just by thinking all of this...haih...

After all the cleaning...there is also the shopping...now ppl..dont get fooled by the word 'shopping'...I know many girls would go..OMG OMG OMG!!! SHOPPING~! WE LOVE SHOPPING~!....NOT! CNY shopping is totally different from the normal day to day shopping...as this is a world wide event....there will be MANY PPL going shopping at the same time...there's the snatching, the squeezing, the choosing and rushing just to get the best deals and goods...totally NOT my cup of tea...but den..wen mom says "Let's go..u're helping carrying the basket!"...wat can u do? T.T

Okay! Done with shopping..now the real deal starts! Cooking and baking!! I dont reli mind the baking part tho..coz I love baking cakes and cookies...Guess its the result of watching Antique Bakery and Yumeiro Pattisiere...LOL! I just love all those little shiny and colorful sweets! They are so cute and pretty that just by looking at it makes me happy! ^^ And u'd be even more happier wen ppl takes a taste of ur sweets they compliment it...hah.... I'm trying some new recipes for this year's CNY...some are from my mom and some from Yumeiro Pattisiere...xD

Anyways...even its so tiring and hectic..I still am looking foward to CNY! Looking foward to go out with my friends and go visiting...hehe..

Dead Blog Revived AGAIN! xD

Finally...I got the 'mood' to update my blog...lolx...been how long liao ah?? weeks? months? Luckily not years ah..hahaha...

Now about the new year....2009 is gone and 2010 is here! well...its been here for like about a month adi..haha....oh well..like i always say..better late than never...xP

2009 was really tough year for me...many unfortunate events keep on occurring....one after another...just like the movie..."A Series of Unfortunate Events" lolx....it was tough..but somehow I got through it...and I'm grateful for that...what I've learned from all these unfortunate events to always think positive no matter how bad it may seem....I know its not that easy but there is way to it I guess..haha....My method was to think SIMPLE! lolx...what I realize too from this was that many ppl like to make things complicated...then I thought why does ANYTHING have to be so complicated...we can make them simple if we wanted to...LOLx...and thats what I did..think simple! But I'm not simple minded la! lol..

So as for this new year..I hope it won't be as torturing as it was for me in 2009...Pray that it will much better not only for me but for my family, friends and everyone else! Soreja!

The Tide is down~

Finally, my family is back home. Praise to God that my sister arrives safely and the trip back was smooth.

I was really worried and happy at the same time when my mom told me they were flying home the next day. But then, God answered all my prayers and guide my sis back home safely.

So now most of my worries are gone. Its time to worry about my school work! I'm so way behind that! Can I make it in time? Well..stay tune~ hahaha..

I want to try..

Last night i couldn't take it anymore.

I finally broke down and cried alone at home.

I wanted to call my mom and cry to her so bad. But I know i couldn't. It'll only make her worry and difficult.

But in the end she called me instead. I tried my best to hide my tears. But once I heard my mom's voice, I couldn't hold it in and started to cry.

The only thing that i regret from that is that i made my mom worry. She almost cried too when hearing my crying on the phone.

I still sad after that. But of course was better than before. I still wanted to cry when i returned to my aunt's house at night.

But this morning when I woke up. I felt a little refreshed. I decided to get things together. Plan. Start working. Even though from time to time I still feel the loneliness and pain.

But I will try my best!

Yes! Thank God! My sis is now getting better by the day! And i hope and pray she will continue to recover and become stronger..

In 2 or 3 weeks..she might be able to fly back home and have her surgery in GH Kuching..

Its been really tough these few days when she was in a critical condition..but now's all well..I'm so happy and so thankful!

I feel my sister is also so blessed to have so many good friends both in Brunei and in Malaysia. They have all supported and helped us in so many ways!

I also feel blessed that I know I have some friends who are also supporting me and my sister in Kuching..Thanks u guys! ^^

I'll going back to Kuching this coming tuesday..see you guys then!

After that..I'll be real busy! 4 major assignments ahead! So many things to do and so little time to do it! ><

I went for a little snowy look..nice and cool~

The manicure cost me RM25 and the snowy design cost rm5 per finger...

Since the nail designs were kinda costly..I could only afford 2 thumbs..XD

Planning to make this a monthly activity?? Don't know..but real tempting..XD

Feel like getting pedicure soon...but gotta check my budget first..><
